A campfire is a great way to defeat the nip in the air on a cold night. The mesmerizing display of a campfire can lead to dream, and its warmth can help us feel a quiet sense of community with all those siting next to the flames.

The heat of a campfire reaches deep into our bones and soon we all become radiant little campfires of our own whose embers we can take back into our beds to keep us warm throughout the night.

Our internal fires are what binds us together, that lead to not only passion, but compassion and feelings of deep intimate connection.

Come sit with me next to the crackling fire
The wind from its core has such hypnotic power
Into the night the sparks dart and do dance
The heat of the blaze draws me into a deep trance

Silence comes easy when comfort is all that you’re feeling
Something is blossoming deep in my heart that fulfills

Calm and refreshed the heat now radiates from me

Breathing in deep the air is like honey
