about

The desire to be loved and to love while often a person's most important goal can get lost in our busy lives.

Time keeps on moving whether you’re happy or sad
The clock keeps on ticking whether you’re busy or relaxed
Loneliness lurks our life’s meaning its prey
Sharing a moment secretes the day

Many people are paralyzed from following their heart by anxiety, fears, trauma and inhibitions.

Many fret for hours whether to make the call
To reach out and chance a lover’s talk
Catching one’s eye they feel themselves go flush
Drop their heads and continue to walk

Life is short and delaying love and intimacy is a foolish mistake.

The time we’re breathing is but a grain of sand
In the hourglass of the universe in the span of man
Sharing is the echo giving my life its sound
Sharing is the reverberation setting my heart to pound

Often the fear of rejection prevents one from extending themselves and approaching someone who they would like to know better. Yet, we truly take a larger risk of being alone when we let our fears get the best of us.

The biggest risk we take is when we isolate ourselves
When we hope someday someone will come our way
Seeking a soulmate who will right every wrong
Who will open our hearts as it’s their fate

So the question is:

Are you waiting for love, are you waiting for someone to share your life?
Are you waiting for love, are you waiting for someone to save your heart?

The joys of intimacy are fairly universal.

Every time I feel like singing it’s so much better when there’s someone
listening
When I smile and crack a joke it makes little sense when I’m all alone
Did you see what he just did, would you believe she used to be thin?
I’m so glad we watched the sunrise, its so nice to have a second pair
of eyes

And those who are in love feel are fortunate indeed.

My life is grounded in her very touch,
our years together mean so very much
If it wasn’t for her constant empathy,
I fear my life would be lost at sea
It’s not just words to say that we make love,
but it’s silly to say it came from above
We have built a cozy little nest out of care and respect
we have done our very best

When it comes to love and intimacy taking chances is a good thing.

I am not a gambling man I don’t take chances and I like to plan
Yet, when showing what’s inside of me,
that’s the time I feel most like a human being
I do not like the air of romance
I fear it cheapens the beauty of our dance
Rather than giving responsibility
it makes love a gift of the deities

Are you waiting for love? if so then,

Please don’t sit there waiting, don’t spend another moment hesitating
Find someone willing to try,
to peel back their skin and share the fruit inside
Life is only what you make it,
a dream a nightmare or just plain vacant
There is so much to see and to do,
but its all, almost all up to you
