The pre-dawn air is pure, crisp and refreshing. Deep breaths fill our lungs with calm and nourishing energy. The songbirds cheerfully announce the day and the sun sends ripples of warmth through the morning chill.
Softly I tread so as not to break the trance
To add and not subtract is my vigilant stance
This is the way I like to begin the day anchored in pure and refreshing energy. Movement starts from stillness and gains energy and momentum as the morning progresses. When one wakes in this fashion it is easy to become active and passionate while remaining respectful of nature and one's environment.
When I run, I run for joy
Come let us dance with everything
No need to change just fit in
Attuning ourselves to natures rhythms and mood changes allows us to see and feel the world from caring and wise perspectives.
Everyone that’s aware finds the time to show care
Knows the danger of belief, avoids the poison of deceit
We need to look to nature to learn how to engage in right action and become life affirming.
Sitting still or running fast, quiet wisdom a loving act
We can run with reverence, or just be and acquiesce
Our lives, like nature, are filled with fascinating patterns and cycles. Yet despite this order there is endless growth and variability. No two days are identical, no individual life is without its unique challenges and accomplishments.
