Ever since I can remember I've been a person who has had very high expectation of intimate relationships whether that be lover of friend. Life is short and I've always desired to explore the very limits of sharing and self-disclosure.
I've never had much of an interest or tolerance of small talk. It has been very hard for me to find people willing to match my intensity, passion and infatuation with life and relationship.
I’ve known many women before
Hearty and new
Just when we were building up steam
They did wear thru
Keeping up, keeping up
I always that humans were designed to love and be loved. I've never felt that there was one person out there that I was fated to be with. I was able to fall in love often and the litmus test was in their ability and willingness to match my thirst for intimacy.
Now young girl
There’s something I’ve got to feel
Can you, can you feel it honey?
When I feel her standing right next to me
I can’t believe this woman’s real
Will she? Keeping up
Hoping, keeping up
Something deep inside is so bottled up
And in those rare moments in which I found my someone open to my intensity and devotion I felt both excited and grateful.
Nothing has me feel this way
The best are few
So keep me pushing all I can
Make love the fuel
Push, push it to the limit
Push, I’ll push right back
Girl don’t you know I love you
Oooh, I want you
Keeping Up
Oooh, I need you
Keeping up
